Teranet Announces new Chief General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

TORONTO, ON – May 16, 2011 – Teranet Inc.'s President and CEO Jay A. Forbes announced today that Agostino Russo has joined the organization's leadership team as Chief General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Russo joins Teranet from BCE Inc., where he held a number of progressively senior roles. Most recently, he served as BCE's Vice President & General Counsel, where he led the planning and performance of all legal services. Over his 20-year career, Mr. Russo has also worked at GTAA and Torys LLP.

Mr. Russo received his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 1989 and was called to the bar of the Province of Ontario in 1991.
