Teranet’s CIO, Fariba Rawhani, Receives the Thought Leader Award at the CSPN Women in Leadership Summit

CSPN’s 4th Annual Women In Leadership Summit, held virtually, brought together business professionals from various industries and explored potential avenues of growth during and post-pandemic.

Over 50 organizations and 500+ attendees engaged in skill-building and networking workshops, keynote sessions, and numerous insightful roundtable discussions. The event also featured a 2020 Women in Leadership awards ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and achievements of inspiring women leaders.

Teranet Inc.’s Chief Information Officer, Fariba Rawhani, was awarded a Thought Leader Award for her exceptional contributions to the industry and the wider community.

“I am extremely honoured to receive the Thought Leader Award. It’s a humbling experience to be recognized for my vision and ability to drive change, and I am so grateful to my colleagues and IT team at Teranet for fostering such an innovative work environment. I hope to help inspire the next generation of female thought leaders who are not afraid to take chances and push boundaries,” shared Fariba.

Fariba has developed technology strategies for leading organizations and played a pivotal role in furthering technology innovations. As a visionary and strategic Senior Executive, her rapid transformational leadership style has inspired many.

In her role at Teranet, she leads all the information technology functions including analytics, project and change management, systems development, partner and supply management, security, and value creation.

Fariba has a keen interest in digital transformation, advanced analytics, machine learning, and governance. She holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and has studied Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Vienna. She is also passionate about mentoring underprivileged youth.
