This year has been unlike any other.
Though even during the most uncertain times, evolving regional restrictions, and strict physical distancing … our fellow colleagues have continued to support each other and provide stellar customer service!
Our employees are the cornerstone of our organization. The community we have created has helped us stay resilient during the pandemic and ensure that we’re collectively looking after each other’s wellbeing.
This is also reflected in a recent award that we have received. We are absolutely thrilled to share that Teranet Inc. has been recognized as one of the Top Employers in the Greater Toronto Area for the fifth year in a row!
Talking about this award, our Chief Human Resources Officer, Sudha Dwivedi said, “Anyone can lead in the good times but I believe that it’s a crisis that really reveals the true character and strength of leadership and an organization’s culture. A lot of organizations say their centre is the customer, which it is. We are certainly customer-focused. However, our equation is, take care of your employees and they’ll take care of the customers.”
Initiatives we have put in place to support our employees in 2020 include:
- Providing ongoing support through initiatives such as Employee Assistance Programs, home office stipends, and prioritizing job security.
- Supporting employees, who are new parents, with maternity leave top-up salary payments for up to 17 weeks, with equal opportunities for maternity, parental, or adoptive leave.
- Investing in long-term employee education through virtual learning and tuition subsidies.
- Implementing women in leadership program.
